Ahhhh the bounty of summer.

Italian squash called, Trombetta di Albenga.

This is a very nice vining squash. I love the way it grows. Very space saving as it grows on trellises easily. It was a very poor year for warm loving veggies but this squash grew very well. It has a nutty flavor when picked and eaten young. It is great in stir fry.

One of the hens.

More irises

Great year for irises!

Installed a 3x8x2 cedar garden box with trelles. This is the hottest
area of the yard. Hopefully great for cucs and peppers. Planted a
Italian squash called, Trombetta di Albenga, on the west end.
