Kale and Broccoli 2011

Kale and broccoli seeds sown 2/13/11 in fish room.


3/7/2011 - Kale and broccoli up and growing great. Next is to thin and transition outside. Maybe this weekend if I find time.

Peas and lettuce planted 2/13/11. Maybe early but it's fairly warm. Soil is 48 degrees F. Update: It turned cold this week, snow on Spencer's butte. I may be planting these again in a month or two.

New dwarf nectarine from the kids as a bday present. Also planted dwarf apricot and dwarf peach to add to my miniature orchard. Strawberries were added to the pots to maximize space and aid in mulching the trees. Sprayed with copper 2/12/11 (happy bday Darwin).
